Pancakes for breakfast tats way too unusual at my place... Was given Oats and Banana as secret ingredients by Sanoli Gosh for tis month "Shhh Cooking Secretly Challenge" organized by Priya Suresh of Priya's Versatile Recipes.
So made these Oats Whole Wheat Choco Banana Pancakes and drizzled with chocolate syrup and chopped bananas they made yummy, healthy n filling breakfast.
What you need:
1/2 cup - Oats, dry roasted n powdered
1/2 cup - Wheat flour
1/4 cup - Milk
1 no - Banana, peeled n pureed
1 tsp - Flax meal
2 drops - Vanilla essence
1 no - Egg white
2 tsp - Dark chocolate chips
1 tsp - Coconut flakes
1 tsp - Oil
pinch of baking soda
pinch of cinnamon
pinch of salt
How to make:
In a bowl add in milk, egg white, vanilla essence, banana puree, oil and whisk well. Now in a deeper bowl add flours, flax meal, baking soda, choco chips, coconut flakes, cinnamon, salt and mix well.
Add the wet ingrd to the dry ones and make into smooth batter if reqd add milk.
Pour a ladle full of batter on a tava drizzle oil around the corners once half done flip it and cook till done on the other side
Arrange the pancakes on a plate layer chopped bananas and drizzle chocolate syrup or honey as you wish and sprinkle gen coconut flakes and dig innn!!!
