Crunchy
crispy wheat thins goes so well with simple yogurt dip and will become your
favorite munch!!
What you need:
1/2 cup – All purpose flour
1/2 cup - Wheat flour
2 cloves - Garlic
1 tbsp – Dried Italian herbs
¼ tsp – Red chilli flakes
¼ tsp – White sesame seeds
½ tsp – Finely chopped parsley
½ tsp - Salt
¼ tsp - Pepper
2 tbsp - Butter
1/4 cup water (+ or - as needed)
How to make:
Preheat the oven to 170 Deg.
Sift the flour with salt and pepper to a bowl. In a blender add garlic and red chilli flakes and blend well. Add this to the flour and add all the remaining ingredients.
Now add the butter and mix it until it forms bread crumb texture now add water just enough and mix them well and form soft dough. Roll out the dough as thinly as possible and cut into desired shapes using a pastry cutter and transfer to baking tray.
Bake it in oven for 10 - 12 minutes or until it is lightly browned.
To make the dip:
Take ½ cup hung curd add chopped parsley, red chilli flakes, salt, pepper and mix well. And dig right in!!

ReplyDeleteNo raising agent? I guess they wouldn't be thins, but would like to be sure. Plan to make them. They seem tasty and healthy. Hardly any butter and some whole wheat flour in it too. Super.
